Lawyer overview

Linda Zhou is a Partner in the Firm's Matrimonial and Family Law Department. She has practiced matrimonial and family law exclusively since 2007, building a reputation in New York City and Westchester as a skilled and resourceful advocate for clients navigating some of the most difficult moments in their lives.

Ms. Zhou brings extensive experience in high conflict custody disputes and handles the full spectrum of matrimonial matters, including equitable distribution, spousal and child support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, settlement agreements, and post-judgment modification and enforcement. Known for her strategic judgment and steady, client-focused approach, Ms. Zhou is equally comfortable negotiating a favorable resolution at the settlement table or advocating forcefully for her clients in the courtroom, and she tailors her approach to each client's unique goals and circumstances.

Prior to joining Dorf Nelson & Zauderer LLP, Ms. Zhou was the Managing Partner of Parmet & Zhou LLC. During law school, she worked as a law clerk at a highly regarded New York matrimonial firm, where she continued on as an associate after graduating law school.  Ms. Zhou also interned at the Legal Aid Society in Brooklyn, New York, and at the Kings County District Attorney's Office during law school, experiences that sharpened her litigation instincts and deepened her commitment to serving clients effectively at every stage of a case.

Ms. Zhou is a member of the Matrimonial Practice Advisory and Rules Committee, the Interdisciplinary Forum on Mental Health and Family Law, the New York State Bar Association, the New York Women's Bar Association, the Westchester Women's Bar Association, and the Asian American Bar Association of New York.

Ms. Zhou received her dual degree in Economics and International Relations from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 2002 and earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2006.

Ms. Zhou was born in Shanghai, China, and raised in New York, where she attended Stuyvesant High School. She lives in Westchester with her husband, their two children, and their dog.
