Lawyer Overview
Christopher Malikschmitt, Esq. is Dorf Nelson & Zauderer LLP’s Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Mr. Malikschmitt manages and oversees the daily operations of the firm, working closely with Partners Jon A. Dorf and Jonathan B. Nelson and Executive Director, William Beaver.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Malikschmitt was a partner at a full-service boutique law firm in New Jersey where, in addition to litigating, he oversaw the firm’s daily operations. That practice focused on complex litigation and commercial legal matters. Prior to that, Mr. Malikschmitt worked as a prosecutor in New Jersey, as an Associate at a large New York litigation firm, and as assistant to the Chief of Staff for then Senator Biden. Mr. Malikschmitt is proud to have served in two judicial clerkships, for the Hon. Thomas L. Ambro on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and to the Hon. A. Richard Caputo in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
When he is not working, Mr. Malikschmitt spends time with his wife and three boys, and—when he can—enjoys flying as a private pilot, classic cars, short stories, and travel.
