Jose Michael Oropeza is an Associate in the firm's Commercial & Real Property Finance Department where he focuses on real estate finance, representing global financial institutions, private equity funds and other clients in the origination of commercial mortgage loans, loan acquisitions, construction loans and related transactions. He is experienced in securitized and syndicated debt across a range of commercial real estate collateral, from single assets to multi-state pooled portfolios.
Mr. Oropeza also advises buyers and sellers in connection with acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate, including negotiating purchase and sale agreements, reviewing diligence and title, and conducting closings.
Prior to joining Dorf Nelson & Zauderer LLP, Mr. Oropeza was an associate at a New York law firm where he represented clients in real estate matters.
