Lawyer overview
Tyler Flynn is an Associate in
the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department.
His practice focuses on
contract disputes, business fraud, partnership conflicts, and employment
litigation for mid-size businesses in the tri-state area. He also has extensive
experience drafting corporate documents, including purchase and sale
agreements, equity agreements, operating agreements, and employment agreements.
Mr. Flynn’s experience in drafting the contracts that generate commercial
disputes – and then litigating over them – provides a specific ability to
handle commercial disputes that most litigators cannot match.
Before joining the firm, Mr.
Flynn served as in-house Counsel at HomeServe USA, where he worked
cross-functionally with business teams on legal and business matters spanning
regulatory compliance, consumer protection, and commercial contracting. This
role required evaluating outside counsel for performance and ensuring that
legal strategy aligned with business objectives – providing direct experience
of what institutional clients need from their outside litigation partners.
Prior to that, Mr. Flynn spent
four years at Wofsey Rosen Kweskin & Kuriansky in Stamford, Connecticut
handling commercial litigation and corporate transactions. Before that, Mr.
Flynn litigated complex commercial matters at Mound Cotton Wollan &
Greengrass in Manhattan.
Mr. Flynn is a proud magna
cum laude graduate of Brooklyn Law School and the University of
Connecticut. During law school, Mr. Flynn interned in federal court for Judge
Nelson Roman in the Southern District of New York and for Judge Carla Craig in the
Eastern District of New York, Bankruptcy Court. Mr. Flynn is admitted to
practice in both New York and Connecticut.
Mr. Flynn lives in Stamford,
Connecticut with his wife Jessica and their goldendoodle Baxter.
