In the article, which discusses Donald Trump’s intent to appeal his criminal conviction after he is sentenced in the NY “hush money” case, Mark analyzes Donald Trump’s chances of success on the appeal. He says that appellate courts are hesitant to overturn jury decisions absent some glaring error or misconduct by the judge or the prosecutors. In this case, because Judge Juan Merchan excluded some of the prosecutors most precarious arguments and evidence from trial and the judge’s demeanor during trial was “flawless”, he is doubtful Donald Trump will prevail.
